Neil John, a personal injury specialist solicitor at Fraser Dawbarns, has successfully settled the claim of a man from Cambridgeshire who was injured when trying to push shut manually an electric hydraulically operated door which had failed.
The man worked for a contract service provider to a wide range of organisations including a local RAF base. He was working on the military site when he was asked to close a door manually because its hydraulic mechanism was not working. In doing so, he broke his arm. Although the fracture has since healed fully, he was unable to drive or work for a number of weeks.
