Daniel Sims is a Solicitor in the Family Law department, based in the King’s Lynn office. Daniel covers a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, financial claims and cohabitation agreements. His particular specialism is in children matters including Child Arrangements Orders and Special Guardianship Orders.
Daniel works with clients of all ages in a wide range of circumstances, ranging from young parents with children issues to couples separating later in life. Daniel enjoys getting a good result for his clients who can expect sympathetic but sensible advice. Daniel is hard working and dedicated, going above and beyond for his clients.
Daniel studied Law at the University of East Anglia, gaining a first class degree. While at the UEA, Daniel was a semi-finalist and a quarter finalist in the Law Society negotiations competition and he volunteered with Street Law which ran sessions with local school classes to introduce them to laws relevant to them, such as social media and malicious communication. Daniel studied for his Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Anglia Ruskin, earning a distinction.
After gaining his LPC, Daniel joined Fraser Dawbarns in 2016 where he completed his training contract, qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2018. Before joining Fraser Dawbarns, Daniel had completed work experience placements at some local firms and in London with the in-house legal teams at the John Lewis Partnership and ArcelorMittal.
Outside work, Daniel enjoys foreign travel (in particular sight-seeing holidays) and reading.
