Jackie Jessiman is a Chartered Legal Executive and Senior Associate in the Family Law department, based in the Ely office. Jackie specialises in all aspects of family law and is particularly focused on advanced finance and cohabitation issues. Jackie’s typical client can be anyone with a family issue to which they seek a solution; ranging from cohabiting couples (whether married or unmarried, with or without children) to grandparents.
Jackie particularly enjoys meeting her clients, getting to know them, and hearing their story. Jackie’s clients can expect a good listener who will work hard to bring them peace of mind.
Jackie began her legal career working as a legal secretary for an Oxfordshire law firm where she began training as a Legal Executive on day release, qualifying in 1995. Since qualifying, Jackie has gained further specialisms in Advanced Finance and Cohabitation.
Jackie joined Fraser Dawbarns in October 2018, having previously worked for firms in Henley, Reading, and Cambridge.
Jackie is a member of Resolution, a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way.
Jackie is a committee member for Cambridge and Ely Contact Centre and has previously sat on the committee of the Cambridge Law Society.
Outside work, Jackie enjoys walking her dog, Barney, and spending time around the house cooking, gardening, and DIY. Jackie also enjoys spending time with her family and watching films and series on Netflix and Amazon Prime.
