Kirsty Haines is an Associate Residential Conveyancer in the Residential Conveyancing department, based in the Ely office. Kirsty deals with residential sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. Kirsty works with a wide range of clients, ranging from nervous first time buyers to more experienced investment landlords.
Kirsty particularly enjoys the variety of clients that Fraser Dawbarns deals with, she enjoys being able to help clients of all ages and from all walks of life. Kirsty’s favourite part of the job is telling people they can go and collect their keys – the news that they have been waiting for!
Kirsty studied English and Education at Northampton University before deciding that a career in teaching wasn’t for her. Kirsty started working for Frasers, a predecessor firm of Fraser Dawbarns, first as a receptionist, then as a secretary, and then as a legal assistant. After returning from maternity leave, Kirsty started taking on client work which she did for two years before being made redundant.
Kirsty returned to Fraser Dawbarns in July 2019, having worked as an in-house conveyancer for a housing company and for another local law firm in the intervening period.
“Outside work, Kirsty enjoys spending her spare time with her Partner and daughters or if there is some alone time, reading, baking, and long walks with her cocker spaniel, Angel.”
