Lauren Simper is a Chartered Legal Executive in our Commercial Department, based at our Ely office. She specialises in a wide range of Commercial Property matters, in particular focusing on landlord and tenant work and property sales/acquisitions. It is in these areas of law where she enjoys the variety of work presented on a day to day basis.

Typical clients of Lauren’s include investors with portfolios of commercial premises who she can assist with a variety of landlord and tenant matters including new leases and lease renewals. Landlords and tenants can also expect advice from Lauren on commercial matters that involve retail, office and industrial unit premises.

Lauren began working at a small law firm in Cambridge (Dixon Phillips) in July 2011 as a Business & Administration apprentice in an admin/office manager role. Over time, she gradually began to assist the fee earners in the commercial property department with more case-related tasks in addition to admin and office management duties. Following completion of her apprenticeship, it was suggested that Lauren might consider CILEx as a route to qualifying as a lawyer. In 2021, Lauren qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive with CILEx and is currently a member of The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

Outside of work, Lauren can be found with her head in a book as a keen reader, as well as going on dog walks and spending time with her friends and family.
