Coinciding with mediation week, the Family Mediation Council has announced that the Government is extending the current voucher scheme, which can contribute up to £500 towards a family’s mediation costs, by a further 12 months.
The Family Law team at Fraser Dawbarns often directs parents and spouses/partners towards mediation to try and reach a compromise, and can provide legal advice both before, during and after, the process, and assist in ‘converting’ any agreement reached into a binding Court Order.
