The personal injury lawyers at Fraser Dawbarns are committed to helping injured clients with their personal injury claims, even when the amounts that are likely to be recoverable are not particularly high.
One claim settled recently involved £13,000 being obtained for a Norfolk woman who walked through sand that had been put down on a petrol station forecourt to absorb fuel and then slipped in the shop when going to pay, fracturing her wrist. Another claim resulted in obtaining £4,000 for a Wisbech man who had suffered an injury at work while carrying tools to his van, having been told to park further away than was necessary. In this case, the matter settled on ‘split liability,’ in other words, the client himself was partly to blame.
Neil John, who heads the personal injury team, comments: “Some law firms now only take on high value claims where there has been a serious, or even catastrophic and life-changing, injury. At Fraser Dawbarns, we are proud to continue to look after clients with injuries of all types, including helping people who have suffered injuries as a result of trips and slips, any type of accident at work, and more minor road traffic collision injuries.”
